Agreement

By creating an account or using MyChordSheet ("the service"), you agree to these terms. The service is operated by Ed Trussell. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

MyChordSheet is an online tool for creating, editing, storing, and exporting chord charts. We offer a free tier (up to 3 saved charts) and a Pro subscription with unlimited charts and additional features.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You own the chord charts and content you create. We do not claim any rights to your work.
  • You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.

Subscriptions & billing

  • Free tier — Available to all users at no cost, limited to 3 saved charts.
  • Pro subscription — Billed monthly ($1.49/month) or annually ($11.99/year). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Cancellation — You may cancel at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds — We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you have an issue, contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.
  • Price changes — We'll give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices.

Your content

You retain full ownership of the chord charts you create. By storing content on our servers, you grant us a limited license to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will never share or sell your content.

Availability

We aim to keep MyChordSheet available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, fix bugs, or update features at any time. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss, though we take backups seriously.

Limitation of liability

MyChordSheet is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@mychordsheet.app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
